Receipt of Child Pornography
Federal law creates a separate crime for receiving child pornography. Anyone who is found guilty of knowingly receiving any material that contains images or videos of child pornography must be sentenced by the court to a minimum of 5 years in prison. The judge can choose to sentence as high as 20 years in prison.
